About Jiva
Jiva Parthipan's work has been seen at The Tate Modern, ICA – Institute of Contemporary Arts, National Review of Live Art, Arnolfini, Fierce! Festival, Saddlers Wells and the Royal opera House 2, London to include a few.
Past work include Terror of Living, Rent, FIST!, Lick, Necessary Journey, [man(DOG, MONKEY, GOD)], Al Qaeda State Ballet, Waiting and Pakiboy.
Jiva's latest short film work commissioned by Amnesty International opened across cinemas and online in October 2007.
International performances include The Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa and Sri Lanka.
The Arts Council, AHRC – Arts and Humanities Research Council, Birmingham City Council and commissions from venues and festivals, have funded his past work.
Jiva has MA in Performance (Distinction) from Goldsmiths College, London.
